The starting point of the project is a campaign led and implemented by an accomplished musician, environmentalist and UNICEF ambassador, Antonije Pusic so called Rambo Amadeus (http://ramboamadeus.com/solar-retro-sailboat.php) with a unique idea to use and convert the design of a over 100 years old ship into a modern, stylish yet absolutely ecologically clean, solar sailing boat.

Solar Voyager named Aurora has a roof covered in solar panels, while the engine is only used when safety requires it. This green machine will confidently rule the waves and be a huge boost to changing habits and raising awareness of environmental issues. Aurora is an example of how to use the potential of solar energy in a proper way, which does not disturb the environment, and minimizes carbon dioxide emissions.
