Lets go into the woods
We depend on forests for our survival, from the air we breathe to the wood we use. And besides providing livelihoods for humans and habitats for animals which is necessary for economic development, forests also stabilize climate and regulate the water cycle. There are many more reasons why trees and forests are an important feature for the environment and in our daily lives. On the International Day of Forests, the City of Podgorica, UNDP and Company Amplitudo launched a new cycle of the ‘’Moje drvo’’ (My Tree) project in the aim to increase understanding and appreciation of the environmental, social, and economic potential of trees, woodlands and forests.
